'Chicago PD' Season 4 Episode 17 Spoilers: Lindsay Meets Halstead's Ex
Trouble is brewing for power couple "Lindstead" in the upcoming episode of "Chicago P.D."
In the episode titled "Remember the Devil," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that Halstead's (Jesse Lee Soffer) ex will enter the picture and cause problems for the pair. Lindsay (Sophia Bush) will reportedly not see it coming since she has no idea that her boyfriend had a relationship she was not aware of. Halstead and Lindsay have been inseparable for a while now and they know practically everything about each other. If Halstead became involved with another woman, it must be when he and Lindsay had broken up because of Voight's (Jason Beghe) order that they should not date.
Executive producer Matt Olmstead recently talked about the looming problem for "Lindstead." He told Entertainment Weekly that the woman's arrival would not sit well with Lindsay, who does not appreciate the surprise. Halstead must have thought his girlfriend would not meet the woman anyway and has seen the need to keep everything under wraps. Unfortunately for him, it did not work out as expected. Fans of the couple should definitely be worried, as the signs point to them breaking up after this.

"A past 'undisclosed' relationship of Halstead's comes back into the picture, putting his relationship with Lindsay on the rocks," the EP teased in the EW interview.
Meanwhile, the episode will also see the Intel Unit investigating a bewildering case. Everything will start when the unit receives a call about a woman running barefoot in the woods. When the agents come out to check, they will discover a shipping container with a human inside. The person will check out as a kidnapping victim. Voight cannot help but question the authenticity of the case. Everything does not add up in their probe. They must be missing something, a link that will connect the two incidents together.
"Chicago P.D." season 4 episode 17 will air on Wednesday, March 22, at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
