'Chicago PD' Season 4 Episode 19: Ruzek Comforts Burgess Amidst Family Crisis

Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) is expected to step up and comfort Burgess (Marina Squerciati) as she faces a family emergency in the upcoming episode of "Chicago P.D."

In the episode titled "Last Minute Resistance," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that Burgess' sister, who is in town to visit her, will go missing. Previously, it was revealed that Nicole (guest star Jules Willcox) and her husband have applied for divorce. She and her daughter went to Chicago to seek refuge in her sister's company. Worried that her sister is moping around her apartment, Burgess will reportedly encourage her to go out and meet with friends. The agent will soon regret her decision.

Night will come and Nicole is not yet at home. The promo shows that she will call Burgess, asking for help. She is found delirious and scared in a train station. She has been attacked. The blood on her pants suggests she may have been raped. After bringing Nicole to the hospital, Burgess is shown talking to Voight (Jason Beghe). He assures her that the whole team is behind her as they investigate what truly happened to Nicole that night.

The teaser shows Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) sharing intel with Burgess. It looks like the attack on Nicole was planned. Someone specifically targeted her. A raid by the police shows that whoever that person is, he has been spying on Burgess' sister for a while now. There are pictures of her everywhere in the hideout. Burgess is also shown losing her temper and grabbing someone by the neck.

Although Ruzek is not shown in the clip, viewers are looking forward to seeing him comfort his girlfriend in this trying time. Despite the fact that Nicole has expressed her disapproval about their relationship, Burgess needs him now more than ever.

"Chicago P.D." season 4 airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
