'Children of the Whales' Episode 4 Spoilers: Falaina Extermination Project Continues in Seven Days; How Will Mud Whale Fare Through?

The premiere episode had the Council of Elders worrying about the location of the Mud Whale being discovered by those from the land beyond the sand ocean. And now, their fears have been realized and are just about to reach new heights on the Japanese fantasy anime series, "Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau (Whale Calves Sing on the Sand)," also known as "Children of the Whales."

An army of masked, armed men attacked the Mud Whale, merciless killing everyone in sight in line with the so-called Falaina Sinner Extermination Project. This said project is headed by a commander who also happens to be the girl Lykos' older brother.

And although they have already withdrawn after reclaiming the nous Lykos, the real attack is just about to begin in seven days, based on the information the bowel mole leader, Ouni, got from the couple of masked men he captured, tortured, then eventually killed.

Moreover, their return was also confirmed by Liontari's parting words to the girl Lykos, who has been left on the Mud Whale, a.k.a. Falaina, as a human sample, to gauge the effect of Falaina to the body.

But will this knowledge really help the people of Mud Whale protect themselves from the next assault, which is now primarily aimed at exterminating them all? What is the Falaina Sinner Extermination Project, and why was it even established in the first place?

Who is Commander Araphne, and what does he want to achieve in exchange for seeing this cruel project through? Has he also just made an enemy of his younger sister?

The mysteries and questions are piling up, and it seems that the Council of Elders may well choose to keep the truths they know to themselves as part of their sworn duties.
