China's Christians grow in numbers and passion for God
There are 1.3 billion Chinese, while 70 million are Protestants. The number of protestants have increased by 100-fold since 1949, while the general population increased by a mere 1.5 times.
"It is plausible that in 30 years, 20 or 30 percent of the population will become believers," said Aikman, who is author of "Jesus in Beijing". That means that "important positions within the government and intelllectual class will be held by Christians. The case that I am making is that China is going to be Christianized if this trend continues."
