Chris Bosh Wants to Play but Miami Heat Says He Can't
Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh has reaffirmed his desire to play for the team once again. However, Miami Heat has a different opinion.
Back in March, Bosh said in a statement that he was not "currently dealing with active blood clots." Because of this, the NBA player said he was "positive" he would be able to return this season. However, his desire and optimism hasn't been matched by Miami Heat which says there's still no time table for when their forward will be able to play for the team once more.
"There is no update," spokesman Tim Donovan told ESPN. "He is out still indefinitely."

Miami Heat has not disclosed Bosch's medical condition, but last year, he suffered blood clot on his calf and was placed on blood-thinning medication. This prevented him from participating in contact basketball due to additional medical risks. He has been sidelined since the All-Star break.
An unnamed source told ESPN that Bosh needs to be cleared by Heat doctors in order to return to court. However, he hasn't been cleared and the source doesn't believe any NBA team would clear him "under the circumstances."
Bosh and his wife Adrienne were optimistic about the former playing again. The latter managed to drum up support in social media for the hashtag #BringBoshBack. Bosh also posted a video on social media of himself shooting in an empty American Airlines Arena. The video came with the message "Still got it."
Bosh obviously believes he's capable of taking on the challenges of the hardcourt, especially since the team is one match away from losing the playoffs. Despite this and the social media campaign to bring Bosh back on court, the Miami Heat seemed to have made up its mind. Uproxx says Heat has Bosh's safety as their number one priority.
The activity on social media breaks weeks of silence from Bosh's camp. The same goes for the recent statement from the Miami Heat. Before these, both parties had remained quiet.
