Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran in Hot Water? Singer's Fat Joke and Tran's Blue Ivy Skit Upset Fans
Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran have had an on-off relationship for five years now, and recently the two have reportedly gotten back together again. Pictures surfaced of them two weeks ago while they were getting cozy at a restaurant.
But now, it seems like Brown and Tran will have to go through a lot of things again as the pair are both experiencing a lot of negative feedback lately.
Brown recently caused his fans to go up in arms when he called his girlfriend fat on an Instagram post. The singer, who regularly uploads pictures of Tran to his account, shared a picture of the model reaching into the fridge.
"Caught this fat a-- n---- in my fridge. Always eating," he wrote in the caption.
Though others came to his defense and acknowledged the fact that the two have a playful relationship and that it was all a joke, others failed to find the caption funny. Comments started flooding in.
"Fat a--????? Hope it's a joke," one person wrote.
"Fat a--? You must be kidding me Chris," another pointed out.
Tran has yet to recover from a huge mistake she made when she alluded to Beyonce's daughter, Blue Ivy, in a skit on BET's "106 & Park." Tran maintains that she was not aware of the content of the skit and that she read it cold from the teleprompter. It was reported that Tran and her manager were furious at what happened as she is now forced to take the heat from Beyonce's fans, who collectively call themselves the Beyhive.
Despite her numerous apologies on Instagram and Twitter, Tran is still getting death threats, according to UrbanIslandz.com.
"Past two days have been extremely draining…I never expected things to turn out this way," she wrote on her Instagram. "I apologize to any and everyone who felt offended in any way by the comments made by BET executed through me."
"I would never disrespect anyone's child in anyway and anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE Beyonce…yes I am human too and yes I do make mistakes…but all this negativity and death wishes are quite a lot," she added.
"Definitely a lesson learned from here forth. Again, on behalf of MYSELF, my sincerest apologies #Beyhive," Tran wrote.
