Chris Brown Calls Working With Rihanna 'Easy'
Chris Brown, 24, and Rihanna, 25, may no longer be romantically connected, but the former is still talking about how easy working with his ex-girlfriend is.
"It flows easy," Brown told hollywoodlife.com about working with Rihanna. "What works with us is that we have similar ways of creating music. It's as effortless as can be."
Brown is gearing up to release his sixth studio album "X" and previously revealed that the pair would release a single together called "Put It Up."
"So we did 'Nobody's Business' for her album, and then I wrote a song, it's called 'Put It Up.' It's more of an R&B record," Brown told MTV earlier this year. "I wanted to do an R&B record with Rihanna because I didn't want it to be the same four-on-the-floor, pop. At the end of the day, that's what they expect from us, so I wanted to do more of a record that nobody really heard her sing on as far as that genre."
While Brown recently took to Twitter to announce that Rihanna would be one feature on his album, he didn't seem so sure about that when speaking to Hollywoodlife.com recently.
"Nothing's been locked in yet," he said.
Brown once envisioned creating an entire album with his ex-girlfriend. Earlier this year, he opened up about the possibility of him and Rihanna collaborating on an entire album together after the pair's multiple song collaborations.
"[That] might be crazy," Brown told MTV News previously. "You gotta wait though. 'X' and then you get the Rihanna and Chris Brown album!"
While Brown and Rihanna may no longer be looking to create an entire duet album together at the moment, he let fans on Twitter know that he still had plans to feature her on "X."
"New album features @NICKIMINAJ ,Kendrick , @rihanna, @KELLYROWLAND , @wizkhalifa ,@bobatl and more surprises to come. 'X,'" Brown tweeted last week.
