The couple, who appeared to be in good spirits, was photographed making their way to Hollywood hot spot Katsuya sushi restaurant on Friday just days after Brown, 25, was released from a Los Angeles County jail. The "Loyal" singer served 108 days of a 131-day sentence for probation violation before being release don June 2 and Tran reportedly planned the date night because he was scheduled to work all night.

"It was going to be a long night in the studio for him and Kae brought him to one of their favorite restaurants before he turned in an all nighter," a source told HollywoodLife.com.

"It gave them the opportunity to get some much needed quiet time alone," the insider revealed. "Karrueche called beforehand and got a cute little quiet table in the back that was lit with a few candles."

On Thursday Tran, 26, planned a surprise jail release party for Brown at a private residence in Beverly Hills and she shared photos on Instagram. While incarceration has reportedly made the singer more reclusive than her used to be, Tran is said to be going to efforts to help him positively adjust back into society and stay out of trouble.

"Karrueche has to literally force Chris out so that he can feel more comfortable and acclimate to being out in public," the insider explained.

"She gets it ... she understands and knows how much he wants to stay cooped up in the house and she thinks that's good, but also wants him to have some balance and get out as well," the source said.

Last month a judged ruled that Brown's involvement in a 2013 Washington, D.C., brawl violated terms of his probation stemming from his 2009 Rihanna assault case.

The embattled singer was arrested in March after being kicked out of a rehabilitation facility for violating its rules. It is still unclear why exactly Brown, who was fulfilling his court-ordered anger management therapy, was kicked out of the facility, however, insiders claim it was due to inappropriate behavior.

Upon his release from jail last week the singer took to social networking site Twitter to express gratitude.

"Humbled and Blessed … Back to the Music and the Fans … Thank you GOD," Brown wrote in a series of tweets Monday after his release.

Brown's Washington D.C. case, which left at least one man injured last October, is scheduled for trial later this year.
