Chris Brown Supports Trayvon Martin with T-Shirt During Interview at Event, Talks Rihanna and Karrueche Tran Split (VIDEO)
Entertainer Chris Brown weighed in on the verdict in the Trayvon Martin case during a recent interview and offered some advice related to not only how people act themselves, but also how to relate to other people.
"Man just keep your head up, stereotypes are something I'm familiar with … for young kids it is always about the choice they make… everyone goes through their different problems but it is how you react," Brown told a reporter with HollywoodLife.com when asked about the George Zimmerman verdict.
The video, posted on YouTube, also shows Brown 24, explaining why he had called off the relationship with Karrueche Tran, while also talking discussing his upcoming role in the dance movie "Battle of the year."
"[Fans have] seen me on and off again with different girls, you know who they are, but right now, as a 24-year-old man, I just choose to be single!" Brown told HollywoodLife.com in reference to a love triangle involving Tran and Rihanna.
In October Brown admittedly ended his relationship with Tran over Rihanna and in May he reportedly ended his relationship with the Bajan singer over Tran. He is now believed to have platonic friendships with both women.
"I'm still good friends with them," Brown added. "[Now] it's just me being focused with my music and doing this stuff. Right now, I'm in my prime."
Brown also recently had charges related to a previous hit-and-run dismissed after a Los Angeles County district attorney dropped charges of driving without a license or insurance. Brown, who had been on probations since his 2009 incident involving Rihanna, had his probation temporarily revoked in connection to the previous investigation related to the hit-and-run.
Just before the news of his probation being revoked was announced last week, Brown took to Twitter to defend himself and call for prayer from over 12 million Twitter followers.
"Pray," Brown exclaimed to fans on Twitter last week. "I did everything I was suppose to do during the so called hit n run, I provided the correct info. There were no injuries or damages. C'mon!! (SIC)"
