Chris Harrison Dating? Host Admits He's 'Ready for Love'

"Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" host Chris Harrison is ready to get back out there and start dating again, though he said he will never be on one of his shows in order to find love.

"It's honestly something I never thought I'd go through again," Harrison told In Touch Weekly. "Women are more aggressive than I remember! But I'm much wiser and more confident about who I am and who I want to be with. You make up your mind a lot quicker."

Harrison and wife Gwen separated in 2012 but share custody of their two children, Taylor and Joshua.

"Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate, our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children," the couple said in a joint statement.

Harrison and Gwen are still friends and get along well, not just for the sake of their kids. They were married for 18 years before deciding to separate. The news came as a surprise to fans of "The Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" host, who tried to help contestants navigate their way through the dating field.

"I really don't think I'd be able to find love on 'The Bachelor,'" Harrison said. "I could never walk in with the innocence or naïveté you need. I'm too low-profile for the show. I'd be the guy that would get kicked off after episode five, and everybody would be like, 'Who the hell is that guy? Was he even on the show?'"

Of course, that doesn't mean that Harrison doesn't have other ways of entering the dating world. He admitted to using an app called At First Sight and even went so far as to establish his own public profile.

"It has video profiles, so you get to really see and hear people. I have a profile on there and I write everybody back who has reached out to me," Harrison revealed.

Harrison currently stars on "The Bachelorette," which airs Monday nights on ABC.
