Chris Pratt, Anna Faris Split News: Star-Lord Back on Instagram With Son

Chris Pratt is back on Instagram months after his split from wife Anna Faris. The Star-Lord of "Guardians of the Galaxy" shares a photo with their son, 5-year-old Jack, after they watched "Thor: Ragnarok" at a movie house.

Pratt's return on the photo-sharing site was filled with good vibes, which his followers embraced. He stated that the Marvel movie he saw with his boy and his brother Cully Pratt was "absolutely amazing."

"We just laughed our asses off," Pratt wrote in the photo caption. "So proud to be part of the Marvel universe."

Pratt's Instagram went dark days before he and Faris jointly announced their split in August. The Hollywood dad has lately been seen with his son. They spent Halloween together aside from Pratt regularly bringing Jack to church on Sundays.

Meanwhile, Faris is doing the book tours since her memoir, "Unqualified," came out in stores last Oct. 26. Her "Mom" co-star" Allison Janney reveals that Faris is also teaching a course on podcasting at UCLA.

Faris has also been seen publicly going out on dates with cinematographer Michael Barrett. The two, however, have not confirmed their relationship to the press.

Pratt and Faris, who were married in 2009, announced they were legally separating the last Aug.6. Sources confirm that the two agreed to go into therapy for the sake of their only son.

"They are going through couples counseling now, which is what you do when you want to divorce and there are children involved," the source stated. "It won't likely change the status but it could help with their future co-parenting."

Faris professed she and Pratt remain good friends despite their separation. She also showered him with love and praises in her book, which was written several months before the end of their marriage. Pratt, on the other hand, wrote the foreword for "Unqualified."
