Chris Pratt Joins Hillsong Church After Split from Anna Faris

Is the Star-Lord now a member of the Hillsong Church? Chris Pratt has been seen visiting its Hollywood site following his split from wife Anna Faris.

Pratt was spotted at the Hillsong Church in Los Angeles last Wednesday for the evening service. He came with a buddy and was dressed casually in a white pullover and jeans as he smiled for the cameras.

Pratt spoke of his faith openly in the past but his association with Hillsong seemed recent. The church would be familiar to many celebrities like Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, and Kourtney Kardashian who regularly attended services.

On Sunday, Pratt brought his 5-year-old son Jack to hear mass at an unnamed church in the Los Angeles area. The doting dad acknowledged in a 2012 interview with People that Jack is the reason his faith is restored.

He said he prayed hard to God when Jack needed to be admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) when he was born prematurely. Prayers helped alleviate the fears that his son with Faris won't pull through.

Meanwhile, Pratt wasn't at the Emmy Awards last Sunday but he was aware Faris would be presenting. Speaking with TMZ, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star said nothing but nice words for his wife, despite what their marriage is going through.

"Anna did an amazing job, man," Pratt said. "She rules," he added and said that his wife and co-presenter Allison Janney looked great that night.

The couple confirmed that they were splitting up in a joint statement last August but they remain committed to co-parenting Jack. So far, the boy has been seen spending time equally with his mom and dad as they continue to work out their marital issues.

Pratt and Faris decided to legally separate but it's unclear if they will eventually file for a divorce. The couple was married for eight years.
