On a statement posted on Tomlin’s website, the artist said that he is “encouraged to see how God is at work in my hometown.”

“The Spirit of the place was evident,” says Tomlin. “I am now just hoping that we captured on tape what was going on in the Hall.”

The Indescribable Tour, which also features Matt Redman and Passion founder Louie Giglio, will continue through Nov. 22.

In related news, Tomlin, Redman, and Giglio are also scheduled to appear at the Passion ’06 Conference, which will be held in Nashville, Tenn., Jan. 2-5 and will feature the David Crowder Band and guest speakers Beth Moore and John Piper. Thousands have already registered for the annual event, which was also held in Nashville last year and drew over 11,000 college students from across the nation.

“Not only are we thrilled and humbled by the growing number of students making their way to join us in Nashville, we are excited about the possible impact of these four days on the collegiate culture as a whole,” notes Giglio. “Millions of students are searching for a meaningful encounter with their Creator and we are praying Passion 06 becomes fuel for a generation that will amplify the name of Jesus to the world.”
