Christian iPad Book 'Little Ace and the Ten Commandments' Now Available (VIDEO)
Estonian animation studio Birds of Paradise has officially released its Christian children's book, Little Ace and the Ten Commandments, for the Apple iPad tablet.
This new iPad book is available on iTunes and will be free until the end of 2011. This downloadable book will be available for $2.99 after the year is over. This Christian children's tale is an interactive tool that parents can use to easily introduce their children to biblical principles.
Birds of Paradise's iPad book centers on the tale of a newly hatched chick named Little Ace. The story follows Little Ace as he takes in the surroundings of the farm and forest he now lives in. Along the way, he comes across several animals in the process. Every animal that Ace encounters gives him a lesson on each of the Ten Commandments.
President of the Estonian Council of Churches and Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church bishop Einar Soone gave a description of the book. "While learning the basic rules of life, the little chick sees the world and surroundings with a new look," he said. "It is a surprisingly fresh way to show normal standards of life, written in ancient times. This is a fun and exciting adventure for the whole family!"
Anni Toom, a young kindergarten teacher, gave a positive review of the book as well: "Excellent helper for parent or teacher to introduce the basic rules of life to a child. It gives you a great opportunity to explain each commandment by your own way!"

Birds of Paradise also offers other fun apps and games for children on the iPad, such as "The Vegetable Band" is a musical game that introduces common fruits and vegetables to young children. "Funky Fauna" is another, which lets kids discover the different animals that live in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
Little Ace and the Ten Commandments is compatible with iPads that sport the iOS 5.0 OS or later editions. Users looking to download the now free book can look up it in the iTunes "Books" category. More books in the Little Ace series are coming.
