Christian Rock Band LEELAND Frontman Running to End World Poverty
Leeland Mooring, frontman of progressive worship band LEELAND, is embarking on a mission to help end world poverty! He has made a personal commitment to run the Ironman Austin 70.3 race with FH World Sports, an organization that brings together and aids athletes to raise funds to serve the poor.
Mooring has already raised $780 and has 176 days left till the race on Oct. 28, 2012 to raise more funds.
Mooring is among many Christian artists who are active and devoted to contributing to current issues including poverty, human trafficking, providing clean water, and more.
FH World Sports is associated with the faith-based non-profit Food for the Hungry.
