Churchgoer Kicks Off Inspiring Night of Generosity at Chick-fil-A With One Simple Act (VIDEO)
When a Temple Terrace, Fla. Chick-fil-A held a fundraising night for her church, Cherie Miller pulled into the drive-thru to partake in the benefit and some tasty treats. Then inspiration struck.
"I had my fingers on the wheel. I felt a sneaky, sly, happy feeling," Miller told WTVT.
That feeling led Miller to pay for the person behind her.
"It was a way for me to pass on the love of God, and to give someone a surprise," she said.
She was surprised herself when she returned later for another order. It turned out her act of kindness kicked off a chain of 18 people in a row paying it forward. When she did it again, 20 more people passed along the blessing.
Cherie Miller and Chick-fil-A employees describe the special night of generosity in WTVT report.
