Ciara Calls Rihanna 'Nuts,' Singer Responds: 'Thanks for the Free Promotion'
Ciara recently called fellow singer Rihanna crazy and the Barbadian singer is not being quiet about the comment.
The singers have reportedly been feuding throughout various media outlets and social media websites for years. However, Ciara's recent comments on California radio station Wild 94.9 FM seemed to upset 25-year-old Rihanna.
"I think she's nuts right now! Like whatevers going on because for me it doesn't make any sense," Ciara said when questioned about Rihanna on the radio station. "I don't have beef with anybody, but I'm not going to be disrespected either. I wish her well."
Still, Ciara said Rihanna has a lot to be happy about.
"I don't know what her problem is. She has a lot of good things going on with herself," Ciara said on the California radio station. "A lot of good things I've always said I've been happy for her. I don't get it. I really don't, but I wish her well. I wish her positivity."
After someone posted Ciara's comments on Instagram, Rihanna did not hesitate to respond.
"How u gon hate from the outside??? Thanks for the free promeaux sis," Rihanna wrote under a picture of Ciara on Instagram with comments made by the singer. "When will they start asking her questions about HER?"
Two years ago, Rihanna and Ciara publicly exchanged words on Twitter after Ciara admitted to having friction with the Barbadian singer during an episode of E! Network's "Fashion Police." The reported feud between the two singers seemed to start again recently when Rihanna and her best friend Melissa Forde posted a photograph of themselves smiling on Instagram while watching Ciara perform the acapella version of her new single "Body Party" in a video uploaded to YouTube.
After Ciara caught wind of the recent Instagram message from Forde, she retweeted it on her personal social media account. Her next message seemed to chastise the famed pop star and her friend.
"Don't have time 4 the silliness. Grow Up and Do Something Positive with ya selves for once," Ciara tweeted. "God Bless."
Since then, Ciara has been promoting her new music while answering questions about her issues with Rihanna that the world has watched unfold on social networking websites like Twitter and Instagram.
"I thought everything was cool because I actually saw Rihanna two years ago at the Met Gala after we had the little small back and forth and from what I recall everything was cool," Ciara told the Chicago radio station 107.5 FM last month. "So, in my mind I operate from a place of love and pure support."
