An update is coming from developer Supercell for mobile game "Clash of Clans." The update will include a new daily bonus system, a new secure storage, a loot cart, and a host of other bug fixes.

A staff member and forum moderator posted the update preview at the official Supercell forum. "CoC" players can look forward to improvement in the loot system, thanks to the fixes and tweaks that are coming.

Players who have been requesting for daily achievements will be happy to know that Supercell will be rolling out the new Star Bonus when the new update comes. Star Bonus provides players with a chance to win a resource bonus daily. To receive the bonus, players need to win five stars in multiplayer attacks. The daily bonus can be seen as an effort to boost the "CoC" economy, putting money back to the game. Needless to say, the bonus aims to reward those who play every day.

Treasury

The upcoming update will also come with the Treasury, which is "the safest place to store resources." The Treasury will be housed in the Clan Castle and will automatically store a player's daily Star Bonus and War Loot Bonus. In case a player loses in an attack, Supercell said "only a very small percentage [of the loot stored in the Treasury] can be stolen."

Loot Cart

Supercell also introduced the Loot Cart. The Loot Cart is basically a reward for having a strong defense, according to Gottabemobile, and aims to lessen a defending player's losses without lessening an attacker's loot.

"After your village has been attacked, a percentage of the stolen resources will be added to a Loot Cart in your Village," Supercell said. "Once you collect the resources from the Loot Cart, these will be transferred to your Treasury for safeguarding."

The new update will also come with bug fixes and balancing tweaks possibly including improved matchmaking. Supercell said they intend to roll out the update "as soon as possible."

Meanwhile, players can take advantage of the resource boost, which has been extended until further notice, as a temporary fix until the new update arrives. For one gem, players can boost their gold mines, elixir pumps, or dark elixir drills.
