'Clash Royale' Leak Update: Card Balancing Update, Arena Adjustment, More to Launch on March 24
New information about the upcoming update to be launched for the mobile game "Clash Royale" has recently leaked.
According to the leak posted on Reddit, Supercell will be releasing an update that will introduce several changes as well as certain feature fixes to the video game.
The update was supposed to be introduced in the beginning of March, around the same time as the game's first anniversary. However, plans to launch the update were reportedly pushed back to the end of the month with Supercell focusing its attention on the largely popular "Clash of Clans." Now, the upcoming "Clash Royale" update is reportedly scheduled for March 24.
The leak reveals that the upcoming March 2017 update to "Clash Royale" will be implementing card balancing changes. The cards to be included in the changes are Lumberjack, Dart Goblin, Barbarian Hut, Guards, Ice Wizard, Dark Prince, Inferno Dragon, Bomb Tower, Battle Ram, Tesla and Executioner.
The balancing changes will feature adjustments when it comes to the health, speed and power of the cards. For example, the Lumberjack — a Legendary Card — will get a six percent increase in hit points while its hit speed will be decreased from 0.7 seconds to 0.6 seconds.
With the balancing changes that will be applied with the forthcoming update later this month, the Dart Goblin card will see its hit speed lowered from 0.7 seconds to 0.6 seconds, which means it will be able to release darts much faster.
The Barbarian Hut, on the other hand, will receive an eight percent increase in hit points and an increased duration from one minute to one minute and 10 seconds.
Aside from the card balancing update, the leak also revealed a forthcoming Arena adjustment. With March update, the legend trophies will be removed. Instead, gamers will receive one gem for every 20 legendary trophies they have.
According to a report by Telegiz, the March update to the mobile game will also introduce the Queen Archer, an Elite Barbarian Hut, a new Goblin Gun and a Dragon.
"Clash Royale" is currently available to play on mobile devices running on iOS and Android operating systems. The leaked update is reportedly scheduled to launch on March 24.
