'Clash Royale' March 2017 Update: Classic and Grand Draft Challenges Launched By Supercell

The freemium mobile strategy video game "Clash Royale" is celebrating its first anniversary this March and game developer Supercell has some treats in store for what has just become a month-long celebration.

After the expected March 2 update did not come, Supercell reportedly made an announcement that the large update they have planned for the game may have failed to come through at the time they have intended, but there are still a lot of other cool things coming out in March to celebrate this important milestone.

Not much is known about what's coming exactly, but a leak has reportedly been released regarding a possible Team Battle feature that may be implemented when the expected large update finally comes around. In the meantime, players can first enjoy quick updates like the two special events: Classic Draft Challenge and the Grand Draft Challenge.

The Draft Challenge gives a player the ability to put together his or her enemy's battle deck. A battle deck is consisted of eight cards, and each player is given a choice between four sets of two cards. When a player picks one card, the other card automatically goes to his or her opponent's deck. This process is repeated until the decks for both players are completed. This way, both players will have already known four of the cards in each other's deck, and can, therefore, come up with better strategies for victory

This challenge includes all cards that have already been released in the game, even the ones that the player has not yet unlocked. So there is a chance for a player to get a card that he or she has not played with before. Both Classic and Grand Draft Challenges come with one free entry.

The Draft Challenge is currently available to play in both Friendly Battles and Challenges until March 6.
