Classic 'Power Rangers' Comics News: New Collection to be Released in June 2018
BOOM! Studios will be releasing some of the classic tales in the "Power Rangers" comics again with its new collection, set to hit the market next year.
According to Den of Geek, the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Archive Vol. 1" will be a combination of "Power Ranger" series from Marvel, Image, Papercutz, and Hamilton Comics, all assembled for the first time. The remastered Archive is said to chronicle not only the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers but also the Alien Rangers and Power Rangers Zeo saga. Since the collection is going to be the first volume, many fans are expecting that there will be more in the future.
Speculations indicate that some of the classic issues to be included in the archive are those that never got published, like that missing issue from the "Image Comics Power Rangers Zeo" series. The third volume in Papercutz's "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" series that never saw the light of day will reportedly be another good addition to the new collection. Other potential contents are VR Troopers in Power Rangers Marvel comics, as well as Masked Rider one-shot comic. The "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Archive Vol. 1" is set to be released in June 2018.

Meanwhile, 2018 is going to be a big year for the Power Rangers universe. The franchise will be celebrating its 25th anniversary and Saban is reportedly pulling all the stops to make it a memorable one.
According to Comicbook, a special reunion episode is going to be released and as per tradition, the fans are expecting it to be another huge hit. In the past, all the anniversary episodes like "Once a Ranger," "Forever Red" and "Legendary Battle" have all become fan favorites. The last reunion, "Legendary Battle" in the Power Rangers Super Megaforce, featured different rangers from across the timeline all helping out to fight against the invaders.
