Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Indiana Pacers Preview: Seventh-Seeded Pacers Eyeing for First Victory over Top-Ranked Cavaliers This Season

The Indiana Pacers will be aiming for their first victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers this season, as they play against each other for the fourth time.

The said game will be taking place on Wednesday, April 6th, at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The first game of the season between the Pacers and Cavaliers took place last November 8th, in Cleveland. The home team was able to score a four-point victory, with a final tally of 101-97. Superstar forward LeBron James came out big for his team, despite playing with a bruised quad.

He ended the night with 29 points, six rebounds and four assists, shooting 10 out of 23 from the field, through 35 minutes of playing time.

Forward Kevin Love also finished the game big with a double-double, scoring 22 points, along with 19 rebounds and four assists, shooting 9 out of 18 from the field, through 39 minutes of playing time.

The second game took place last November 8th in Indiana, where the Cavs emerged victorious with a final score of 111-106 through overtime. Point guard Kyrie Irving was the night's top scorer, dropping 25 points, three rebounds and seven assists, shooting 10 out of 20 from the field, through 40 minutes of playing time.

LeBron James once again put on a performance to remember with a double-double of his own, scoring 24 points, along with 12 rebounds and six assists.

The third game last February 29th was once again tightly contested, but in the end, it was Cleveland that came out with the win, bearing a final score of 100-96.

James carried his team to victory once again, ending the night with 33 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals, shooting 14 out of 22 from the field, through 36 minutes of playing time. Kyrie Irving was the second leading scorer for the Cavs, dropping 22 points, along with three rebounds and six assists, shooting 5 out of 13 from the field, through 35 minutes of playing time.

The Cavaliers hold a record of 56-22, while the Pacers banner a win-loss slate of 41-36.
