'Code:Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~' Episode 3 Spoilers: Will Cardia's Life Ever Be Normal? Van Helsing Joins the Crew!

Can a woman without a heart truly live and fall in love? This seems to be the question at the very core of the Japanese fantasy-adventure anime series, "Code:Realize: Sousei no Himegimi (Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~)."

What was supposed to have been a simple trip around town turned into an intense face-off with a blond, bespectacled guy known as Abraham Van Helsing, a.k.a. the Human Weapon, who happens to share the same goal as Lupin and his crew. And despite his complicated motivations, it seems that his addition to the team has just given them a fighting chance of protecting Cardia and the Horologium.

Moreover, the leader of the terrorist organization, Twilight, has been revealed to be a young-looking guy called Finis, whom the queen has referred to as her child. Who is Finis, and what could his goal be for wanting to take the Horologium? Is the queen really his ally or is just an unwilling accomplice to his plans?

Helsing seems determined to bring Finis down for the atrocious things that the villainous guy has committed, which seems to have affected Helsing's life in a very personal way. Could he have lost an important person due to Finis' doing? And if so, what does this say about the extent of Finis' cruelty?

As for Cardia, it has been revealed that she may have lost her heart and what's been causing her skin to be highly poisonous is also the only thing that's been keeping her alive.

Will they ever find a way to free Cardia of the curse of bearing the Horologium and thus give her a chance to live a normal life and be able to freely touch the warmth of the person she falls in love with?
