College 14 Stabbed, Suspect in Custody Admitted to Planning the Attack (VIDEO)

A Texas college stabbing has left 14 injured but no one dead. Reports state that the sole suspect, Dylan Quick, had planned the attack for some time.

"According to the statement the suspect voluntarily gave investigators, he has had fantasies of stabbing people to death since he was in elementary school," a statement from the Harris County Sheriff's Office said. He used a "razor-type knife" to stab his victims.

Quick has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He reportedly went on the spree at the Lone Star Community Colle System's Cy-Fair campus. After the initial stabbings, several students and faculty leapt into action and tackled Quick until police arrived.

"This is a current and ongoing investigation," Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia said at a news conference. "Buildings are still being searched to confirm the details that we have. We're proud of these folks [who tackled Quick], but we're glad no one else is injured any more severely than they are," Garcia added.

Quick is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Thursday, which gives investigators time to gather evidence and decide whether they want to press further charges against Quick.

"I can't believe he would do it," Magdalena Lopez, a neighbor, told the Associated Press. "I can't imagine what would have happened to that young man to make him do something like this. He is very normal."

"It just seemed like he was just going around, basically getting whoever was more open and easiest for him to reach," Cassie Foe, a nursing student, told Anderson Cooper. She assisted one of the victims by applying pressure to the wound in a victim's neck.

According to reports, Quick overcame a learning impediment and worked hard at school. He was born deaf but received a cochlear implant when he was 7; he was homeschooled in order to help him learn how to speak English more quickly. Quick was working on his associate's degree at the time of the stabbing and hoped to transfer to the University of Houston.

There were no indicators to family and friends that Quick was suffering in any way or had planned out the attacks. They were left stunned by his actions.
