Colton Dixon Continues to Set Strong Example of Faith Post American Idol
Colton Dixon, who was eliminated from the popular show American Idol a couple of weeks ago, remains outspoken about his Christian faith post "Idol." This past weekend, Dixon appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and attended the 2012 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner where journalists, politicians, celebrities and star gazers gathered.
Dixon shared with CBN News before the event, "I wear my faith on my sleeve so hopefully just by talking to whoever I get to talk to they can see that. But just being able to share my faith on 'American Idol' in front of 20 million people was crazy -- a total blessing, you know. I can't believe God used me in that way and I'm excited to see how he uses me tonight."
With over 250,000 Twitter followers, Dixon does not disappoint his strong fanbase, whom he refers to as "Messengers," derived from the scripture John 13:16.
