Come to the Table Food, Fellowship, and a Celebration of God's Bounty
"I will sing to the Lord for He has dealt bountifully with me" Psalm13:6
Do you feel like celebrating? If so, join us each month as we praise God with our food, our fellowship, and our celebration of His indescribable bounty to us. Joyous living is not confined to holidays, holy days, or even to days of special blessing. Christians are called to celebrate everyday, the munificent, temporal gifts of God. In this space we will use His gift of daily nourishment as a vehicle of praise. More than a gift, it was and is a generous endowment. How we receive it and offer it to others is important to God. The theologian Karl Barth wrote that "joy is the simplest form of gratitude". Within that context, celebration becomes living thankfulness. Yet most regrettably, celebration is the most often overlooked and least understood of all Christian practices. Find encouragement in the words of Dallas Willard, taken from his book, The Spirit of the Disciplines.
"We engage in celebration when we enjoy ourselves, our life, our world, in conjunction with faith and confidence in God's greatness, beauty, and goodness. We concentrate on our life and world as God's gift to us."
It is through celebration that we are able to say thank you and admit total dependence on our Lord. So doing will not only enrich our own lives. It will allow God to use us as glad witnesses to those on the outside. Here's what you can expect to find here!

Let's resolve together to make the following our watchword for September : " I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor – it is the gift of God." Ecclesiastes 3:12
To whet you appetite, I'll leave you with a wonderful but easy dessert recipe. Enjoy every splendid calorie! Until next month, I'll be living in His Joy, And I pray you will be too,
