'Conan Exiles' Roadmap, Gameplay News: Funcom to Regularly Release New Content Until 2018
Gamers can already play "Conan Exiles" through Steam Early Access. But fans will be happy to know that there is more content in store for them all throughout the year.
According to Hardcore Gamer, Funcom has already lined up all of the new things that will be coming to the game. In fact, there are so many of them that the game will not reach a complete launch until 2018. This much was outlined in the company's 2016 financial report.
Patches will be released regularly every one to two weeks. These patches will contain improvements to the game, as well as any bug fixes that may be required. Apart from these, there will also be more content coming to the title.

The new content will make gameplay more interesting as they will introduce different ways of defeating opponents. Among these content updates are the Purge update and Mount update. The Purge update will add new non-player characters that will attack the strongest city that belongs to the player. The Mount update, on the other hand, will allow players to capture mounts and train them. There will be different animals included, ranging from the common horse to the less common rhinoceros.
Right now, "Conan Exiles" is only available on PC via Steam. However, Funcom has plans to release the game to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. A Preview Program will launch for the Xbox One in the third quarter of this year. But the full release on both consoles will not arrive until the first quarter of 2018.
"Conan Exiles" also boasts impressive sales numbers, having sold half a million copies within the first month it was released. However, Funcom will ensure that revenue received through game sales will be put to good use as the company plans to invest another $5 million to $10 million into the title.
