Maxine Waters Comments on Current Happenings in Donald Trump Administration, Says 'He Will Be Impeached' Via Twitter
Congresswoman Waters recently reiterated her opposition to the Trump administration
Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters has been outspoken with regards to her thoughts about President Donald Trump and his administration, and she has commented on those topics again just recently.
The congresswoman took to Twitter recently and said that the president is "hiding something."
She continued, adding "he continues to lie & distract from investigations."
The congresswoman ended her tweet by saying that "the truth will be uncovered & he will be impeached."
This is not the first time that Congresswoman Waters has talked about the possibility of the president being impeached.
When asked earlier this year during an interview with Cheddar about what people can expect from the Trump administration over the next four years, Congresswoman Waters replied by saying she hopes that the president will not remain in office for the length of his term.
Congresswoman Waters also mentioned later in the interview that her "greatest desire is to lead him right into impeachment."
The congresswoman has also been critical of some of the actions that the Trump administration has taken, such as the controversial executive order related to traveling to the United States as well as other things being done by the president himself that Waters previously said have created "chaos and division," CNN reported.
Just recently, the congresswoman also took to the House floor to reiterate her opposition to President Trump, CBS Los Angeles reported.
During that speech, the congresswoman said "I oppose this president. I do not honor this president. I do not respect this president."
Back on Twitter, Congresswoman Waters indicated that she does not intend to back off from the comments she has made recently and over the past few months, saying, "I am a strong black woman. I cannot be intimidated, and I'm not going anywhere."
More news about Congresswoman Waters should be made available in the near future.
