Conor McGregor UFC news: 'The Notorious' spends more than $450,00 on two new cars with less than a month before facing Jose Aldo at UFC 194

UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor recently made an extravagant purchase with less than a month before his unification title fight against reigning 145-pound king José Aldo.

"The Notorious" faces the Brazilian champion at UFC 194 on December 12th, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It is a fight that was originally scheduled for UFC 189 in July, but was postponed after Aldo was forced out of the contest due to a rib injury.

McGregor has not been shy about his spending habits. Since success began snowballing for him in 2013, the brash Irishman went on to fulfill his appetite for three-piece suits, which have been a staple part of his entire image.

Now, the 27-year old mixed martial artist has acquired a new vice: high-end cars. In a report by The Mirror, McGregor spent over £300,000 ($460,000) on two new vehicles, a BMW i8 that costs around £210,000 ($319,000) and a Mercedes S-Class, which is around £97,000 ($147,000).

But for McGregor, he believes he only deserves what he is spending on, given the amount of money he thinks he is bringing in the company.

"When you bring in $60 (million) to $70 million a show, you get little perks like that," McGregor explained in a report by FOX Sports. "The next fight's going to bring $90 (million) to $100 million."

"I've made more money on this last fight than you've made your entire fighting career. I bring it in and I take it as well, don't you worry about that," he added.

Since his Octagon debut two years ago, McGregor has been undefeated in the UFC with a record of 6-0. Five of those victories ended via technical knock out, in fights that have not gone past the second round.

His lone decision victory was against top featherweight contender Max Holloway in August 2013, where he also suffered a torn ACL after the fight.
