Cop Gives Ticket and $100 Bill to Struggling Father 'Restoring' His Faith in God (VIDEO)
A cop has given a ticket with a $100 bill wrapped inside to a struggling father he had pulled over for a traffic violation – touching the man's heart so much that he broke down, and testified his faith in God had been restored.
The Texas cop had pulled over 25 year old Hayden Carlo to issue him a traffic ticket for an expired registration. Carlo immediately apologized to the officer and admitted he had no excuse, but simply did not have enough money to renew it.
According to CBS News, Carlo explained, "I said there's no explanation for why I haven't done it, except I don't have the money … it was either feed my kids or get my registration done."

The cop decided to hand over a citation for the violation, but also added in a little surprise for Carlo.
"I opened it up and there's a $100 bill. I broke down in my car what else could I do?" Carlo said.
With the $100 Carlo was able to renew his own registration as well as the registration on his wife's vehicle, according to reports.
The man told his grandfather, Billy McIntire, about the generosity of the officer he had met, who then decided to write a letter of thanks to the police department, notifying them of the good deed. In the letter McIntire stated, "I get emotional when we talk about this type of thing. You just don't find that many officers who would do this type of thing."
Carlo has also now spoken out to testify the generosity of the Plato police officer, but the officer has said that he wishes to remain anonymous. However, according to the Mail Online, his colleagues at work are planning on honoring him in some way.
David Tilley, a spokesman for the Plano police department, has said, "He told me, this man needed it more than him, and it was the right thing to do."
Carlo has since testified, "He helped me out when I needed it and I appreciate that. I'll never forget that man. It definitely restored my faith in God."
Since his encounter with the generous cop, Carlo has been able to start a new job - to which he drives to every day - and which now allows him to get his family back on its feet financially.
