Lionel Messi continues as 2016 Copa America's top and leading scorer heading into the quarterfinals between the remaining eight teams. While Messi shares the goal count with Brazil's Philippe Coutinho who both have 3 goals, Brazil was eliminated in the group stage which is why we are considering Messi the "Top Scorer" thus far.

Now, heading into the quarterfinals with the first match taking place on Thursday, June 16 - USA vs. ECU we have Argentina leading the goal count with 10 goals scored so far. Brazil and Chile follow the lead with 7 goals each and just behind we have Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico with 6 goals each. USA has recorded 5 goals while Peru, Panama and Uruguay each have 4 goals. Costa Rica and Venezuela have 3 goals each and Bolivia 2. Jamaica has been the only scorless team of the tournament so far.
