Could Aaron Hernandez's Daughter's Visit Cause Him to Commit Suicide?
Aaron Hernandez committed suicide inside his cell. No one knows yet as to why the National Football League star ended his life, but speculations suggest that it is because of his daughter.
The 27-year-old football player was found lifeless in his cell at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center, Wednesday morning. Hernandez hanged himself in his window with a bedsheet.
His body was found around 3 a.m. He was transported to a hospital but was pronounced dead an hour later.
Before the incident, reports note that his fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins, brought their four-year-old daughter to court as she was begging her to see her father. Avielle's surprise visit to her father brought a huge smile to the ex-American football tight end's face as he spotted his daughter. Days after, he was found dead.
His death has left a lot of questions for many people. Speculations suggest that he might have committed suicide because of his daughter, Avielle Janelle. Reports surmise that he took his own life merely because he probably thought it would be better that way than to wait for the day when his daughter will see him as a murderer.
However, it does not seem like it. 7News' Byron Barnett took to Twitter and said Hernandez was even excited to see his daughter again.
There were no reported signs that Hernandez will do something like this. The Correction Department's spokesman Christopher Fallon even said that no suicide note was found, as per ABC. That being said, some are looking at the possibility that the football player was killed.
Jose Baez, Hernandez's lawyer, believes that his client's case was an orchestrated murder. He said that the former football player's inmates might have killed him and made it look like he killed himself.
