'Counting On' New Season Updates: Joseph Duggar's Courtship Expected to Be Featured
Following the big announcement of Joy-Anna Duggar's engagement, fans now have their eyes on Joseph Duggar, who recently announced his courtship with Kendra Caldwell. It is speculated that the new courtship will be featured in the new season of "Counting On."
According to UPI, the courting couple will now be allowed to have side hugs. They will also be allowed to get to know each other better. However, just like how the Duggars have been trained, they are not allowed to kiss until their wedding day.
Caldwell revealed that she is looking forward to texting Joseph. In the conservative Baptist faith, doing phone calls and texting is not a normal thing that "friends" of the opposite sex do. With the Duggars, they have to be courting to be allowed to do so.
The Caldwells have been friends of the Duggar clan. It is expected that they will start appearing in "Counting On" season 4 now that Joseph has announced his courtship. It remains to be seen if the new relationship will lead to the altar.
Meanwhile, fans are also looking forward to seeing baby Henry Wilberforce Seewald grow. According to PEOPLE, Jessa (Duggar) Seewald and her husband, Ben, have started showing off their new baby on social media. In a recent Instagram post, Jessa revealed that baby Henry is now one month old and weighs 12 pounds.
Ben and Jessa revealed to the outlet last month that baby Henry was born 8 lbs. and 11 oz. Ben said at that time that both Jessa and Henry were doing well after the delivery. He also thanked fans for their prayers and support. The couple are already parents to Spurgeon.
Another thing fans will definitely see in "Counting On" season 4 is Joy-Anna's wedding preparations. Her engagement was announced earlier this month. She has been friends with her fiancé, Austin, for 15 years. This could be the reason why her courtship lasted shorter compared to that of Jill and Jessa.
"Counting On" Season 4 is expected to air sometime summer on TLC.
