With talks yesterday of a potential ceasefire, still there remains no resolution to the escalating violence between Hamas and Israel. There is fresh fighting between the two sides, even though talks circulated about a cooling off period. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is now in Israel. A joint news conference was held with her and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Here is a special CNN report about the notorious group "Anonymous," which launched a massive cyber attack on Israel. The new front of Cyber war is proving to be a challenge as millions of attacks by hackers happen in a short space of time.

A meeting of the Church of England's parliamentary body is underway in London to decide whether to allow women bishops. Most church members support the move including the outgoing Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, and his successor, the Right Reverend Justin Welby. The Church of England has allowed women to be ordained as priests for the last 20 years but there has been strong opposition to women bishops. Voting takes place in two stages and must muster up a two-thirds majority among lay members of the General Synod. Results are expected to be close.

A hardline Islamic group based in Britain is warning that it will soon travel to Pakistan and issue a "fatwa," or religious death decree, against the young Pakistani girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban for her activism in favor of educating girls in that country. 15 year old Malala Youcefzai is recovering in a British hospital. After the global community heard of her story, world leaders pledged to support her in both her recovery, and in her activism for educating girls. She has since become an inspiration for people who find hope in her strength. In fact, the UN declared a day to be "Malala Day"
