CP World Report: Santorum, Hilary Rosen, Obama Campaign, Betty White
Sources say Rick Santorum has agreed to a face-to-face meeting with Mitt Romney. Santorum suspended his Republican presidential campaign, and now Romney is saying he will work with his fellow Republican toward the single goal of defeating President Obama in November. He is also hoping to attract Santorum's evangelical and socially conservative supporters.
MEANWHILE…. Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen is defending her controversial comments about Ann Romney, a stay-at-home mom. Wednesday on C-N-N, Rosen said…..Republican frontrunner Mitt Romney's wife has quote: "actually never worked a day in her life." In response, Ann Romney went on Twitter for the first time. She tweeted that she made a choice to stay home and raise five boys and it was hard work. Even Son, Josh Romney posted on Twitter that his mom is one of the smartest, hardest working women he knows. Twitter has been buzzing with people attacking Rosen's comments. So, trying to do damage control, Rosen tried to explain what she meant. CNN
Senior Obama campaign advisor David Axel-rod called Rosen's comments "inappropriate and offensive," as Democrats now distance themselves from her comments.
