Today is the big day in the Republican Primaries: Super Tuesday where ten states are up for grabs. It's a race for delegates where contests will decide how more than 400 delegates get allocated. 1,144 are needed to secure the Republican nomination. Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are the tight frontrunners, where polls suggest Romney is riding into Super Tuesday with the biggest momentum.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sat down to a reception in the Oval Office with U.S. President Obama yesterday. Obama discussed America's commitment to the security of Israel.
While Obama stressed that he preferred a peaceful solution to the Iranian menace, he gave a dire warning that the next few months will be difficult and that America will work to prevent the regime from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Netanyahu discussed the two countries common values

Netanyahu continued to state firmly…. Israel's sovereign right to defend itself and that it was his responsibility as leader…to ensure that Israel remains the master of its fate. The two leaders also discussed the broader issues of peace in the region.
Hopeful news about Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani imprisoned in Iran since 2009. Sources at the American Center for Law and Justice in Iran have confirmed that he is still alive, and rumors that he may have been executed were false. Persecution organizations say they have no doubt that global pressure has kept the Pastor alive. Among them: Christian and Human Rights Organizations, Donald Trump and the U.S. State Department.
And a brief update on Syria, Canada announced that it has closed its embassy in the country amid more reports of people being massacred and tortured Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird also said Canada was increasing economic sanctions against Syria.
Opposition leaders continue to call for protests following Russia's Presidential election, and the landslide win of President Vladimir Putin. He captured 64 percent of the vote with his closest opponent scoring only 17 percent. Supporters were accused of rigging the Sunday vote at some polling places. Former child star Kirk Cameron, who is now an outspoken conservative Christian voiced his opinions about the sanctity of marriage and its redefinition. He did it on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight Cameron is now 41 and has 6 children. The actor is best known for his role on "Growing Pains."
At a meeting at the UN AIDS headquarters in Geneva, Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams says tackling HIV and AIDS in developing countries has much wider social implications, like gender equality, poverty and minority rights. Williams also highlighted the importance of the church in combating the stigma and discrimination that people infected with the disease face.

We know that comparisons have been made between sports stars: Broncos Tim Tebow and Jeremy Lin of the New York Knicks. That's because they are both Christians. Well Tebow says he spends lots of time with Lin on the phone because he identifies with Lin, who rose to his Lansanity fame weeks ago. Controversial sports media personality, Skip Bayless, recently Tweeted that the "Jeremy Lin saga is getting Tebowesque"; and that Lin loves the pressure quote "Even thanked Lord & Savior Jesus Christ."
