CPS Called to Octomom's Home; Where is Mother of 14?
Nadya "Octomom" Suleman is supposed to be in rehab, but Child and Protective Services has claimed they cannot get in touch with her for another visit. CPS was called by an anonymous source that reported child neglect and concern for Suleman's children.
"Social workers from DCFS will be visiting Nadya's Palmdale home this week to do a welfare check. Officials are trying to get a hold of Nadya and speak to her, but have so far been unable to reach her. Under the law, anytime someone makes a report about a child being in either physical or emotional danger an investigation will be launched and a visit to the home is legally required," a source told Radar Online.
This is obviously not the first time that CPS has had to conduct an investigation into Suleman's situation. Ever since the mother brought all of her 14 children to their new home in Palmdale, she has been seemingly absent from their lives. Reports stated that she had checked into a rehab center for addiction to prescription drugs including Xanax.
Only a few days later, though, Suleman made a music video with Cledus T. Judd, a musician known for his ironic videos that poke fun at various people and situations.
"Nadya has been in Tennessee since at least Monday where she's filming a spoof in which she gets married to Cledus. She was extremely annoying to everyone on set and her crazy laugh scared all the geese off!" a source close to Judd explained.
"There is genuine concern about the well-being of Nadya's children. DCFS will want to know who is taking care of these kids, and are the older ones regularly attending school? Have the kids talked to Nadya while she is away?" a source asked.
"Nadya is allegedly in rehab for prescription drug abuse, so did the kids have access to any of those medications? These are answers that social workers need answers for," the same source added.
