8. Christian musician Toby Willis' daughter Jessica reveals decades of sex abuse in Christian family
American reality star and musician Jessica Willis Fisher, of The Willis Clan, revealed that she suffered decades of sex abuse, beatings, and manipulation at the hands of her father, Toby, the patriarch of the family and group.
A Christian family of 14 from Nashville, Tennessee, The Willis Clan rose to fame after they appeared in season 9 of "America's Got Talent." Following the singing competition, they were featured in "The Willis Family" TV series on TLC between 2015 and 2016, until Toby Willis was arrested on charges of child rape and has since been sentenced to 40 years in prison on multiple counts of raping his daughters.

Jessica, the eldest daughter of the clan who left the country music band, took to her website and shared of the extensive sex abuse she and her siblings were subjected to.
"As far back as I can remember, I was sexually abused by my father. I figure I was around 3 years old in some of the earliest memories. Initially, I had no way to know that anything was wrong. When I did eventually come to realize the fact, I had no way to accurately express what was happening to me. There followed immense shame, distrust and hurt throughout my childhood — even in the happy times. Thus ran the two parallel storylines that became my life," the 26-year-old wrote.
