4. The Women's March Led by Pro-Lifers?
One of the controversies that hounded the Women's March on Washington in advance of the event was its organizer's rejection of pro-life allies.
This included dropping one feminist group's sponsorship because it was pro-life and ignoring the requests of Students for Life of America to be a partner.
When the March organizers released their platform, it included a rousing endorsement of pro-choice views. This was likely due to groups like Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice America being on the list of official partners.
Undaunted, the SFLA and other pro-life activists announced that they going to the March regardless. At one point during the March members of SFLA got to the front of the procession and showed a large anti-abortion banner.
They continued their marching even as they endured heckling and chants of "my body, my choice" from some of pro-choice attendees.
