CreationFest 2005 East Coast Starts Tommorow

Tens of thousands of youth are heading out to Agape Farm, Penn., for CreationFest 2005 -- one of the largest Christian music and worship festival in the nation.
The event, now on its 27th year, is held separately on both coasts, and strives to nurture a relationship with the Creator. The four-day East Coast conference kicks-off tommorow.
It has always been important for people to get away from the busy every-day-world and reflect on spiritual matters, addressed the co-founders, Rev. Dr. Harry L. Thomas, Jr. and Timothy Landis to their supporters. This is such a time.
It will be the highlight of your summer maybe your life, they added.
There are a variety of special activities and attractions planned this year, including seminars, fireworks show, comedy club, illusion show, X Games, a skateboard ministry, and a children's tent.
A total of 46 Christian contemporary music bands will lead worship over the four-day music, teaching, and camping festival. Performers include Switchfoot, Newsboys, Michael W. Smith, MercyMe, tobyMac, Audio Adrenaline, Relient K, David Crowder Band, and Casting Crowns.
The music assists us to worship and give tribute to our Creator. Co-founders Landis and Thomas explain. The fellowship with other believers encourages us and gives us a taste of the diversity and beauty of those who follow Him.
In addition, a host of youth ministry leaders will teach from the Word and encourage faith.
The organizers state, The Word of God is honored at Creation. Much prayer and effort goes into finding Godly speakers who have vital and relevant messages for this generation.
Running the gamut of speakers are youth ministry and adult ministry leaders, such as evangelist Greg Laurie of Harvest Crusades, president and founder of Teen Mania, Ron Luce, founder of Eternity Minded Ministries, Dan Owens, founder and president of Life Promotions, Bob Lenz, founder of Faith and Action, Rob Schenck, and president and founder of WisdomWorks, Mark Matlock.
Pastors and international speakers will also speak, such as senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens in Somerset, New Jersey, Buster Soaries, international youth speaker, David Burke, Chairman of the Dept. of Youth Ministry at Eastern College, Duffy Robbins.
The third category of speakers showcases role models for the youth, such as L.A. entertainer Lakita Garth, ex-mafia boss Michael Franzese, four-time Dove award-winner Margaret Becker, international rap artist L.G. Wise, and director and co-founder of Creation Festival Harry Thomas.
