'Criminal Minds' Season 10 News: Episode 8 'The Boys of Sudsworth Place' Recap
On Wednesday's episode of "Criminal Minds," a prominent lawyer goes missing in Boston, and the investigation unearths secrets from his past that could point to the reason for his disappearance.
After helping a teen avoid prison, Attorney Jack Westbrook returns to his car and finds it all smashed up. He sees the culprit and chases him, but he is attacked from behind.
At the BAU, the team listens to Jack's 911 call. Garcia tells the team about what he found out about Jack—he donates to charity, he helps children in need, and is about to start a family with his wife whom he's been married to for seven years. Who would want to hurt a man like this?

JJ goes over to Jack's house and talks to his pregnant wife. She tells him that they are now starting a family and said that its all thanks to his new, less stressful job of defending troubled teens.
Meanwhile, Jack is in a pit and trying to reason with his captors to set him free. Chad tells him to get undressed, and when Jack refuses, he fires a gun into the pit. Andrew is scared by this because all he wants is a filmed confession.
At the BAU, the team discovers that Jack spends his extra hours in an apartment that he has been renting under a made-up company name. They break into the apartment, and they discover video games, pinball games, and toys. They also see some disturbing pictures and it becomes clear that Jack is a pedophile who lures young boys to his apartment.
The team tells Jack's wife what they discovered. At the pit, Brian tackles Chad and he tumbles into the pit, and the fall kills him instantly. Andrew tells Jack to confess or else he'll burn down the building with him inside it. Jack then manipulates Brian to let him out of the pit.
Meanwhile, the BAU team broke into Brian's place and discovers that he too has become a pedophile. Back at the building, Brian shoots Jack, and Brian and Andrew burn the bodies. As they run out, they get arrested by the BAU.
