'Criminal Minds' Season 10 News: Episode 9 'Fate' Recap, Episode 10 Plot
On Wednesday's episode of "Criminal Minds," the BAU searches for an unsub who has an uncontrollable urge to kill yet is also filled with remorse, while a woman who could hold a secret from his past visits Rossi.
The episode starts with a salon worker complaining that she doesn't get enough tips. As she is about to lock up for the night, she hears a whirring noise before she is attacked.
Meanwhile, Rossi is in his car and sees that a woman in another car seems to be following him. He gets out of the car and buys coffee, then brings it over to her. He says that she may need this if she's going to be following him. He asks her who she works for and she tells him that it's a secret.

Later, the team finds out that three people have been stabbed and have been cleaned and redressed right after. Across town, a woman named Ellen is seen in the shower and she's covered in blood. She's crying, and she keeps reassuring herself that it's ok.
The next day, Ellen is at work and is seething when her boss Sarah takes all the credit for her work. When Ellen confronts her, Sarah tells her that she has been covering for her for months since her accident and that she should stop her pity party and celebrate with the rest of the team.
Rossi calls Garcia for info and tells him about the woman who has been following him. Kate thinks that it could be a stalker or a fan.
At the salon, they deduce that the unsub could be a woman due to the fact that the killer laundered the clothes which was worn by the salon worker. They also find hair at the crime scene.
At Sarah's house, Sarah is seen preparing for bed and when she goes down to investigate a noise, she finds that her husband has been stabbed. Then Ellen chases her and kills her.
Later, the team tracks Ellen down after she stabbed her own husband, and finds out that since her accident, Ellen has been suffering from intermittent explosive disorder, and that she will continue to kill when she's stressed. They take her away and her kids are sent to live with their aunt.
Rossi finds out that the woman who has been following him is his daughter Joy. He follows her to the airport, and she asks him why he left. Rossi says that her mom was a diplomat at that time and he has just moved up in the FBI. He tells her to stay but Joy says that she can't because her son Kai is running a fever. She tells Rossi that he'll love her husband and that he too is Italian. He asks if he can visit them this weekend, she agrees and calls him dad. He buys a ticket and gets on the plane with her.
"Criminal Minds" will be back on Dec. 10 with a new episode titled "Amelia Porter."
"The BAU investigate a triple homicide in Salt Lake City and the probe reveals there may be a connection between the victims and a fugitive killer," the synopsis reads.
"Criminal Minds" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on CBS.
