'Criminal Minds' Season 11B Spoilers: Episode 11 Synopsis Released, Agent Natalie Colfax Returns
American police procedural television series "Criminal Minds" is all set to return with new episodes for the half of season 11. Fans can expect a very thrilling season premiere as the trailer and synopsis released revealed a date with a twist.
According to TV Line, Aubrey Plaza ("Welcome to Sweden," "The Legend of Korra") is going to guest star in the show as Cat Adams, a woman whose idea of a fun dinner date involves playing a risky game. The source detailed that Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) will score a date with Cat but their supposedly romantic date will turn into a dark one when Cat unexpectedly pulls a gun on Reid.
She then starts playing a game of wits after revealing to Reid that she knows she is having dinner with an FBI agent. As seen in the trailer, a bomb planted in the restaurant is ticking and may explode anytime and kill several innocent diners. Reid will have to be witty himself to save the people and, of course, himself.
Fashion & Style also detailed that episode 11 will see the BAU investigating a case where dead bodies are being abandoned in public places in Boston. To track down the UnSub, the team will be questioning the taxi or ride-share service that the victims used prior to the tragedy.
In another note, fans will be seeing a familiar face on the show once again. As detailed in Design & Trend, "NCIS" alum Marisol Nichols is going to reprise her role as Los Angeles-based FBI Agent Natalie Colfax. The "Teen Wolf" actress announced her return to "Criminal Minds" through her Twitter account saying, "Ahhh it's good to be back. #CriminalMinds @CrimMinds_CBS."
She will be appearing in season 11 episode 15 wherein the BAU will be teaming up with her to find the killer of several women who were found dead in their own homes in Los Angeles. The BAU suspects that the person responsible for the killing spree gained the trust of each women first.
"Criminal Minds" season 11B will start airing new episodes again on Jan. 13 on CBS.
