The CBS hit drama "Criminal Minds" is set to hit their 200th episode during this, it's ninth season. Showrunner and executive producer Erica Messer has provided some inside information for what fans can expect for the celebratory episode. Erica Messer recently released a statement about the 200th episode.
"Our 200th episode is going to be a special show," the executive producer and showrunner said in her statement.

Messer also revealed that Paget Brewster will be returning to the show for the 200th episode.
"We can't imagine telling this story without Paget being present," she said in her statement.
Paget has not been on the show since the seventh season and had a reduced role in season six. She played the role of Emily Prentiss on the CBS show.
Erica Messer also revealed more about the 200th in a previous interview with TV Guide.
"There's no hearing in this one like in [episode 100 and the season seven premiere], but different characters flash back to fill in the blanks to solve the present-day case, which is JJ in jeopardy," Messer teases. "200 is flashback-heavy, but with things fans who've watched all 199 will be happy with. Our goal is to reward everyone who's been with us for 200 episodes."
"Criminal Minds" airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on CBS. The 200th episode is set to air in February of 2014.
