'CSI: Cyber' Season 2 Latest News: Technology Can Be Horrifying, Says Charlie Koontz

"CSI: Cyber" star Charley Koontz admits that when he first joined the show, the script and the words they used were "all abstract." The good thing, though, is that everything is thoroughly explained, and now that the show is on its second season, he says that he's gotten to a point that he's comfortable with the terms. With deeper knowledge about technology and the Internet, Koontz admits that it can all be "horrifying" sometimes.

In a recent chat with Assignment X, he said that the Internet is so free to everyone that there's so little that authorities can regulate about it. "So the show is celebrating technology, it's amazing, and all the things we can do with it. They can be horrifying, like anything. Peanut butter is fantastic, but if you eat a giant bucket of it, it's not going to go that great," he said. Koontz encourages everyone to be responsible and be more aware about it.

The actor also teased "CSI: Cyber" fans on what to expect from the upcoming second half of season 2. "It's a lot more about the characters and a lot more about having a job that takes eighteen hours to crack one code makes it somewhat difficult to have a family life and/or relationships that are interpersonal in any kind of way," he said. Viewers can remember how dramatic it got for Koontz's character, Daniel Krumitz, last season, after his sister killed the man who was responsible for their parents' death. Fans can't wait to see what's in store for them next Sunday, once the show returns from hiatus.
