'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Season 9 Spoilers: Bryan Cranston Guest Stars

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" will feature a big star in the next episode. Emmy winner and "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston will guest star as Larry David's therapist.

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" season 9 episode 4, which airs on Sunday, Oct. 22, on HBO, will find Larry going to his therapist. The two, however, will end up arguing as Larry will overstep on his doctor.

Cranston talked about his "Curb Your Enthusiasm" appearance via People. He said he enjoyed working on the HBO comedy because there was basically no script to follow and most of the cast members did improvization.

"Larry writes out a little outline saying, 'Okay, in this scene these three or four things need to come up — these pieces of information at some point need to come out. Go!" Cranston shared. "You just improv the entire thing," he said, adding that they laughed and laughed while filming the scenes.

David, who plays a caricature version himself on the show, always gets in tight spots on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and because of this Cranston assessed his character definitely needed to see a therapist.

Meanwhile, last Sunday's episode was another cringe-inducing moment for David as he gets into a squabble with his agent's wife Susie (Susie Essman). The two have been at odds with each other from the beginning and the latest episode was no exception.

Susie was already upset about her teenage daughter who did not go home that night but her husband and David were more concerned about something else. She snapped at David, like always, and called him out for having no basic human compassion and he just nonchalantly admitted that she's correct. His reply only pushed Susie's button further.

Elizabeth Banks guest starred in the episode as David's potential new girlfriend. Susie, however, also involved the new girl in her spat with David.

Banks' character, however, is a bit eccentric, which might be too much for David. She calls their coupling ElVid, which is short for Elizabeth and David. She also addressed Susie passive-aggressively.

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" season 9 airs Sunday nights at 10:00 EST on HBO.
