Cyber Monday 2011: Amazon 'Lighting' Laptop Deals to Sell Out Fast
Some of the best deals on laptops and notebooks are now available on Cyber Monday, which has become just as important a day for retailers as Black Friday.
Virtually all big-name retailers, from Walmart to Best Buy and Sears now feature online shopping deals available for customers, and all will be competing against the biggest store on the Web, Amazon.
Although a host of other items will also be on special sale, Cyber Monday is undoubtedly a huge day for electronics. Consumers in general love shopping for computers and gaming consoles from the comfort of their homes, and just picking up the merchandise from a store when it is ready.
An interesting poll on Shop.org indicated that 60 percent of workers using the Internet on Monday would be shopping for gifts, CBS.com reported. It is by far the biggest day of the year for Amazon, and is an indication of how successful the company’s profits will be for the upcoming year.
Some of the most lucrative Cyber Monday deals on notebooks were collected by MyNetbookWorld.com and include:
The $249 ASUS Eee PC 1001PXD-EU17-BK 10.1-Inch Netbook
The $255 ASUS Eee PC 1001PX-EU17-WT 10.1-Inch Netbook (White)
The $ 279 Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 0647-2AU 10.1-Inch Netbook (Black)
The $283 Acer Aspire One AO722 11.6-Inch HD Netbook (Espresso Black)
Amazon’s laptop collection is one of the most promising, as expected, and has a section on its official website which features the “lighting deals." A few of the available items are listed below:
