'Cyberpunk 2077' Rumors: Destructible Environments, Especially Enormous Open World Supposedly Set To Be Featured

Possible leak hints that previously destroyed areas in the game may undergo repairs later on

It has not been in the headlines that much recently so gamers will be forgiven for not thinking a lot about "Cyberpunk 2077," though a supposed leak that is now making the rounds online is giving people reasons to at least pay some attention to the game.

A recent report from Comic Books Galaxy contained the details of the supposed leak that came from an unnamed source.

First off, the leak suggested that the new game from CD Projekt Red will feature a truly enormous open world, a place that may potentially dwarf even the already impressive one that players can explore in "The Witcher 3." To be more specific, the leak indicated that the open world included in the new game will be four times bigger than the combined world of "The Witcher 3's" base game and its downloadable content packs.

What is even more remarkable about this other game world is that it will supposedly be quite responsive as well to the things that players do. The leak noted that there will be destructible environments scattered throughout the open world and what was even more interesting is that non-player characters may take notice of them as well.

In the leak, some locations that may be significantly damaged because of battles could be repaired by the NPCs present in "Cyberpunk 2077."

Unsurprisingly, the folks over at CD Projekt Red have not commented on the leak, so its accuracy remains questionable.

If the details included in the possible leak turn out to be true, however, then it sounds like players are going to get a very special kind of open world.

Previously, developers did share via the game's official website that the new open world would feature examples of advanced technology and even a chaotic combat zone among other attractions.

More news about "Cyberpunk 2077" should be made available in the near future.
