Dallas Cowboys' Jason Witten Speaks About His Violent Childhood and What It Takes to Be Tough
Dallas Cowboy tight end, Jason Witten, watched with a personal perspective as the NFL was rocked this season with domestic violence. Long before the NFL had announced the league would take action, Witten was already doing something about it.
His teammates and wife praise him very much for the man he has become. Being raised in a home that was violent as a child and seeing you father hit your mother is not something that is always easy to overcome. So in order to show love and kindness to his own kids, he is raising his children in an opposite way that he was brought up. He is showing them love and spending quality time with them.
Jason has two boys and he teaches them what it is like to be REAL man. Being respectful, polite, having manners, etc. Everything that he has been through as a kid has helped him become a better man. Aside from being a hall-of-famer, he has helped so many kids become respectable men.
