Dallas Cowboys vs Denver Broncos Live Stream (Fox): Watch NFL Football 2017 Online
The Dallas Cowboys and the Denver Broncos will face off in the game of Week 2 in the NFL 2017 regular season. Today's game takes place from Sports Authority Field in Denver, which should give the Broncos the edge, however, you can never write off the Cowboys and they will be looking to move to 2-0 to start their season.
The game has a scheduled start time of 4.25 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the Fox network, or online through live stream (details below).
The Cowboys got their season off to the perfect start last week with a solid victory over rivals the New York Giants. That opening game for the Cowboys came at home at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, and gave their tens of thousands of fans optimism that this could be their year.
The Cowboys completely shut down the Giants' offense, and they will be hoping to do that again today against the Broncos.
However, the Dallas offense only really got going in the second quarter, where they scored all their points against the Giants, except two field goals through the entire other three quarters.
The Broncos defense will no doubt be much stronger than the Giants' outfit, and this is a Denver team that over recent seasons has been build on a stingy defense that gives nothing away and makes opposition teams fight for every inch.
That means Dallas must be at their best today if they are to leave Sports Authority Field with anything other than a loss and falling down to 1-1.
The Broncos also won their opening game last week. They held off a late surge by the Los Angeles Charges to claim a tight 24-21 win. The Chargers scored 14 unanswered points in the fourth to make things very tense at the end, however, the Broncos defense did just enough to get them over the line. Denver will definitely want to see improvements this week though, and they will know they can do better than they showed last week.
Earlier this week, the Houston Texans went on the road to Ohio to play the Cincinnati Bengals on NFL Thursday Night Football. The Texans prevailed 13-9 in a low-scoring and close encounter.
Both teams had lost in Week 1 and so both were intent on avoiding falling to 0-2, however, it is the Bengals that find themselves the first team of the new season to drop to 0-2. The Texans meanwhile move to 1-1 and will look to push on from here.
In Week 1 the Bengals were trashed 20-0 by the Baltimore Ravens, and Andy Dalton was only able to average 5.5 yards per pass through the game, accumulating an horrendous 28.4 passer rating.
The Texans meanwhile suffered an embarrassing loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, in what was a disastrous opening showing for the team. They gave up 10 sacks as well as 29 points, and were forced to bench Tom Savage for rookie Deshaun Watson midway through the game.
Watson struggled through his first ever start in the NFL, however, he did produce the only moment that really mattered in the game as he ran for a 49 yard touchdown after breaking free from the Bengals defense.
That proved to be the difference between the teams and was enough to get the Texans season kick-started with their first victory.
But on the evidence of Thursday's match up, both the Bengals and Texans look like they can have reasonable defenses, however, both will have to do something drastic about their offenses, as both looked far from NFL-level performances. If things do not improve quickly for both teams in that area then it could end up being a long season.
